happily grateful

November chalkboard

I spent most of yesterday catching up on laundry.  I thought I might actually have everything clean AND put away by the end of the day.

Then four o'clock rolled around and I took the kids outside to swing, play and explore for a bit.  There were still piles of clothes and diapers needing attention, but the weather was outstanding.   I really do enjoy checking things off of my to-do list, so sometimes I need Jeremy to remind me that time spent with the kids outside on days like yesterday beats full closets and empty hampers.  Plus, it is hard to ignore all the beautiful green grass and the pretty changing leaves on the trees.  Next time I need to remember to grab my camera and capture these moments.  Here is a little inspiration for doing exactly that.

Tomorrow I will have my next round of "Today I Love!"

So glad you're back to posting/FBing/tweeting (twittering?)! I've missed the updates. Can't believe Lincoln is almost 1! And so excited for the new school journey for the girls - can't imagine how hard that decision was.
