I never got to finish my last post. I saved it as a draft right before the computer shut down on me. It has been doing that a lot lately. And, as a result, we are taking the plunge and becoming a Mac family. Jeremy has converted me, and thankfully Apple sells refurbished Macs. It arrived at our house right before we left for Houston, so I have not had an opportunity to use it yet, but I can't wait to get back and use iPhoto. Not that I have any photos to edit from our week in K-town. I forgot the camera battery charger and the battery died right after we arrived....nice.

We have enjoyed our time so far. Emma and Stella are getting to go to parks everyday and on walks everyday. Well almost everyday. Today, we could barely make it down the greenbelt before we started seeing TONS of green worms flying down out of the trees all around us. YUCK. My dad was walking ahead with a big stick trying to knock all the worms out of our way, but it just wasn't working. So we turned around and decided to walk around the neighborhood on the streets, but those nasty little worms were flying from the trees out onto the streets! We couldn't escape. Just typing about it makes me feel like they are crawling on me.

But back to the parks, Emma mastered the ability to go the twirly slide by herself and has had a blast climbing, swinging, and sliding. It amazes me how much she has grown, all the things she can climb by herself, or will attempt to climb. Stella has just been a sweety to whole time we have been here. She is just full of smiles for all of us. I am looking forward to hanging out with some friends from high school this week and their kids.

Here are some pictures of a project I made for the girls room. I used a 1x4 piece of wood, stamps and a rub-on.
