We sold our house last week. We relieved and so thankful that it sold at a time when selling a house is no easy task. We are grateful that our family of five will not have to pay both a mortgage and rent while our head bread winner is in school full time. We are feeling a little nostalgic and looking back through our photos of our life there. This home was a right of passage for us, part of our entrance into adulthood. It is hard knowing that it is no longer part of our life. It is now the right of passage for another young couple, who I am certain will love their time there just as much as we did.
1. We grew from a family of two to a family of five.
2. We always had a steady stream of home improvement projects.
3. 75% of our time in our house was spent in the kitchen-when it included our family and friends those times were even sweeter.
4. We learned that gardening and yard work are not our forte.
5. A dining room can be a school room, a ballet studio, an artist studio, a packing and shipping department and of course a place to eat and it can still look like a dining room.
Photos pictured above:
making nests for "N" lesson, dusting, sidewalk chalking,
favorite mode of transportation, the boys, queen of the castle
lunch at the white table in the dining room, our side yard, little artists
he loved to nap on the floor in this room, ready for an adventure, donuts on Sunday
Here's to our new adventure.

Congrats on selling your house!!
I forgot to respond to your question about the places I go to get craft supplies... Fortunately for me I have at least 2 of each JoAnne's, Michael's and Hobby Lobby within 5 - 10 minutes of me. So it really just depends on where I have a coupon to be honest!!
And as far as thrifting goes I will have to e-mail you on that... Can't give away all of my secrets!! :) Have a great and HOT week.. Ugh, I love St. Louis in the spring and fall but summer is brutal this year!!!!! :)
Thanks Alli, I will look forward to hearing from you. :)
Goodbye to my favorite house in Waco.
