weekend reading

I hope to find some time this weekend to sit back and be inspired and if I can squeeze it in, make something. I am also planning a fun DIY to do with your kids-which I will share next week. In the mean time, head over to your local bookstore and browse through one or two or all of these books.

Have you made any fun crafts with your kids lately?

I've had my eye on that Martha Stewart crafts book. Is it as good as I imagine it would be? It would probably make me sad becuase I always want to do all the crafts in the magazine, but I dont have time. Robert and I made a log cabin out of twigs in honor of Abe Lincoln for president's day. It was a lot of fun for him because we got to forage for twigs in the yard and make a big dirty mess inside.

I have not had much time to look through the book, I will have to let you know what I think.

fun Kimber-Leigh! it has been so long since I scrapbooked. I need to set some time aside for it.

Is that one-yard wonders good? Those have all grabbed my interest actually, but I haven't looked at any of them. The last real "craft" that we did (that I remember) was our melted crayon wax hearts for valentines. Playing in shaving cream has been a big hit lately!
