a fun project...

Isn't this cute? It is hanging in our living room. My sweet sister in law, Janee' made this for us and I love it! She went around Tulsa and took photos of the letters, the "O" is from Lowes.

Imagine the possibilities! How cute would these words be, Laugh, Joy, Eat, Dance.

Thanks Janee'!

cool

I got to be one of Ali's teaching assistants at CKU Houston this past weekend!

It was cool to hang out with her and not be in labor at the same time. (see this post!)

It was cool to hear her teach for 2 days.

It was cool to see the photos the students brought for the album.

It was cool to see some of Ali's projects in person.

It was cool to visit with her other TAs.

It was cool to meet scrapbookers that have used my products and get such positive feedback-thank you!

It was cool to get a small taste of what CKU is like.

It was cool to get a thank you gift from the CKU staff at the end of the day for being a TA-totally unexpected!

a bit of a review

Our household stayed super busy this May and beginning of June and the craziness will continue. We have celebrated mother's day, a wedding and a first birthday and of course a fourth birthday. We have been to the museum. We have enjoyed the company of old friends and look forward to more visits from friends over the summer. We have rearranged furniture and zipped through Ikea in an hour (thanks to a shopping list spreadsheet created by Jeremy, how else is that possible?).

I have enjoyed beautiful new Amy Butler paper, thanks to Jeremy and the girls and I competed a mini album full of awesome photos from scrapbookpictures.com.

alright, I am one tired momma...off to bed!

four

She turns four years old today.

Four years ago, I was lying in a hospital bed, eating orange popsicles, watching hgtv and wondering when this baby would come into the world.

She woke up to a festive table with a banana split breakfast and a sweet note from her daddy. We have read books, baked a cake, watched a movie and received many birthday wishes from family. She is looking forward to a party at the end of the month to celebrate with family and kids in the neighborhood.

We love being her parents, we love being with her, teaching her, hearing her stories, and seeing Jesus work in her heart. She brings so much joy and happiness and laughter to us.
