Our tree is up! We bought a pre-lit tree this year, about a week into it displaying it's pretty white lights, the top third of the lights burned out. So with a dark top and sparsely decorated bottom (thanks to our Christmas tree bandit, aka Stella) we have a lovely display.

I have updated the d. reeves design house blog. You can see images from the press we have received in 2 magazines. Ali Edwards is doing a giveaway today on her blog for 3 8x8 albums.

Here is fun project from my Heidi Swapp class. I am so excited about getting my recipes organized in one place. Right now they are all piled in a box with absolutely no organization. So, to make it easy on myself, I pull out a few recipes, jot them down on the recipe cards designed by Heidi, and simply add them to my book. It feels great to make some progress in this department.

stamp storage

I wanted to share with you my new stamp storage from Little Monkeys, Susan, the owner lives here in Waco. I love this storage system because it fits so nicely on my work space in my craft armoire. When I need a stamp, I just flip through the sleeves. Super convenient!

I have added my acrylic stamps from 7gypsies and Autumn Leaves the to box, as well as the cards from my Making Memories foam stamps, so I can reference them easily when I am looking for a stamp. You can read more about this fabulous system on her website.

photos

Some photos from the past few weeks.

While in Tulsa for Thanksgiving, all of the girls spent some time in the craft room. Emma made this gingerbread man.

Then she carefully practiced drawing stitches to decorate his legs.

Then she drew the stitches on the gingerbread man.

Then she made a snowman for her Aunt Nay to take home.

This past Sunday, Emma put this puzzle together completely by herself, for the first time ever. Good job Emma!

Stella is walking all over the place and hamming it up every chance she gets....just like her daddy.

I caught her putting her baby in the high chair to feed her, then she changed her mind and fed herself instead.

She is learning lots of signs these days, it is so fun to teach them to her. So far she knows, please, more, all done,

dirty, clean, thank you,

baby and our favorite...

Daddy, sometimes signed with 2 hands, resembling a moose.

A few photos of the Thanksgiving table...

This week I will be posting about a great new stamp storage product that I am using-so stay tuned!

Also, I will share some Christmas projects I made using d. reeves design house products too!
