Things on my mind...

Our life has felt very overwhelming lately...and it seems when I feel like there will never be enough hours in the day to finish all of my tasks I think about sewing and cleaning out our closets. For some reason, times like these stir up my creative and organizing energy. I know pulling things out of our closets and making a new pile of stuff to deal with will not in anyway help out my family. Neither will pulling out my fabric bin, and matching up pretty scraps to make this passport wallet is not the best use of my time right now.

My friend Amy gave me some samples of the Supermom vitamin to try and it has been making a huge difference in my energy level each day....so thankful it exists. Note to self: order these as soon as you are done with this post.

We have been enjoying this music lately. Listen to May 25, 2007, try the song, "Imitosis."

I love these bags, I must save up for one, but I can't decide which style I like the most.

Okay, hope everyone is doing well.

meeting our nephew

Part of my neglect of the blog was due to a last minute trip to Houston, to meet our sweet nephew, Robert. We had a great time with family. He is precious and the girls, more specifically Emma, loved spending time with him. Stella tried to show Robert love by swinging her hands rapidly at his head. We are excited to be a first time Aunt and Uncle, and hope the kids will be great friends.

Let me just tell you, Robert's room is so cute!

I am always so inspired when we visit the Welling household where the fountains of creative are "welling" over.

the felt projects

I had mentioned in my last post that I would share the adorable felt games both sets of grandparents made for Emma's birthday party.

The bean bags for the bean bag toss are adorable...

And the felt board where the kids could attach butterflies to Hello Kitty...this one turned out very cute too. Hello Kitty was almost as big as Emma.

Pink: Thursday

I guess it will take me several weeks to finish up the color assignment. Here is a lot of pink, thanks to Emma's 3rd birthday party last weekend. We had a great time with family and friends. I will post mores pictures tomorrow of the adorable contributions the grandparents made to the 2 party games. A hint: they both involve lots of felt.
